About Us

Spud Bears

The name 'Spud Bears' came from one little 8 year old girl, named Lanni. When i told her i was from a place called Ireland she said that she knew that we liked to eat potatoes there. I told her we called them spuds and she decided to call her bear Spud Bear. I was so sad to hear that Lannie had passed away a short while after i returned home, but i decided to name the ministry after her teddy bear....Spud Bear

so far we have sent out 1721 furry friends to children in Uganda, Tanzania and Ecuador

Talking Bears?

A really excited project we have is our solar powered animatronic talking teddy bears. These bears are used to read Bible stories share the Gospel and teach life saving information about healthcare, especially Malaria prevention, to  children in remote hospitals, orphanages and schools many can not read or have limited sight. We have 85 Spud Bears operating around the world and this is just the beginning we have plans for our USB and GPS enabled next generation bears that will be able to do so much more!!!!
